| Imagine a competition
where various songwriters are all given the same word or phrase and told to
compose a song inspired by that title. Each of these songs would be recorded,
sent to a central location, and posted on a Web site for the public to vote on.
At SongFight!, this takes place every week. A title is posted each week, and
songwriters around the world compete for the votes of the adoring public, with
the only prize being bragging rights. Anyone can vote on the songs, from the
casual listener who checks out new songs by their favorite songfighters every
couple of weeks, to the hardcore songfighters themselves who have entered
dozens of songs. SongFight! has minimal requirements for entering a song, and
(for better or worse), songs aren't judged before being
posted.
